MINI unveiled the MINI Coupe at the Frankfurt Motor Show. During the MINI press conference in Frankfurt, the company officially announced to enter the Indian car market next year. As MINI is a part of the BMW Group, it will be assembled at BMW’s Chennai factory and they will set up their own dealerships rather than utilizing BMW’s dealers.
The company will launch the hatchback, convertible and Countryman range of vehicles at a very competitive price. India will get the second -generation of Minis that will be powered by the same 1.6-litre engine.
I really want MINI to be launched in India ASAP. I just hope they'll provide us with its Diesel variant...
