Volkswagen Polo and Vento Breeze editions launched

After an overwhelming response to Volkswagen India's limited edition IPL Vento, the German car maker has now launched Breeze editions of the Polo and Vento to accelerate sales volumes of these already popular cars. Read on to know about the Breeze editions of the Polo and Vento

Volkswagen India organised the Breeze Weekend festival on the 10th of September, 2011 at all its 77 dealerships throughout the country to commemorate the launch of their limited edition Polo and Vento models. Volkswagen refers to these limited edition cars as ‘action models’. Volkswagen believes that these ‘action models’ will help contribute to the sales figures of the Polo and Vento. While it is true that limited edition cars sell out quickly, what particularly makes these cars totally worth it is that these limited edition cars are priced at par with the regular variants of these cars. In essence, you end up paying the same amount as you would pay for a normal Polo or Vento, but get a lot more equipment and features in return. That in itself makes these cars a very good deal.

The Breeze edition is available across all trim levels of the petrol powered Polo. The Polo Breeze edition gets a Satellite Navigation system, leather seats, some elaborate pillows and floor mats with ‘Breeze’ branding on them, Breeze stickers on the car and Rear Park Distance control.

The Vento Breeze edition gets a Touch Screen Multimedia Player with USB and Bluetooth connectivity, elaborate pillows with ‘Breeze’ branding on the inside and ‘Breeze’ sickers on the exterior of the car. The Breeze edition of the Vento is available on the Trendline variants of both the Petrol and Diesel Vento.

The Member of Board and Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt. Ltd, Mr. Neeraj Garg, commented on the Breeze editions of the Polo and Vento by saying, “The excellent response from our customers on to our action model, Vento IPL Edition has encouraged us to introduce another action model in the market. Actually two action models to be precise: The Polo Breeze and the Vento Breeze. It is surely another milestone in a sustainable action model strategy of Volkswagen in India.”
